The new golf course in Northern Ireland, Lough Erne, has opened in July 2009. Its architect is Nick Faldo, the 3 times winner of The Open Championship and the Masters at Augusta National. It is his first design in Ireland.
Every holes are spectacular going alongside a majestic lake. Hole number 13 is quite special with its green built on the lake!
The course is already very popular because it is totally different than the other courses in the country and it will probably appears in the Top 100 best golf courses in the world sooner as people think according to many people who have played the course.
The young golf star Rory McIlroy is the tourning pro of the club.
